By downloading, installing, or using Expiro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Expiro is a document expiration tracking app that helps you remember when your important documents expire. The App allows you to:
- Scan and photograph documents
- Automatically detect expiration dates using on-device OCR
- Receive local notifications before documents expire
- Store document information locally on your device
License
Expiro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Purchases
Expiro offers a one-time purchase to unlock the full app. This purchase:
- Is a non-consumable in-app purchase
- Provides lifetime access to all features
- Is non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- Can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- The accuracy of information you enter into the App
- Backing up your device regularly
- Verifying expiration dates with official documents
Disclaimer
Expiro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate date detection and timely reminders:
- OCR accuracy depends on image quality and document format
- Notifications depend on your device settings and iOS behavior
- You should always verify important dates with official documents
- Expiro is not a substitute for checking your actual documents
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackcurious and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Missed expiration dates or late renewals
- Fines, fees, or penalties from expired documents
- Loss of data stored in the App
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to external servers. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
