How do I add a document?

Tap the "+" button on the main screen, then either take a photo of your document or select one from your photo library. Expiro will automatically detect the expiration date. You can adjust it manually if needed, then save.

Why wasn't the expiration date detected?

Expiro's AI works best with clear, well-lit photos. If a date isn't detected automatically:

  • Make sure the expiration date is clearly visible in the photo
  • Try taking a new photo with better lighting
  • You can always enter the date manually

When will I receive reminders?

By default, Expiro sends reminders at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before a document expires. You can customize these intervals in Settings.

I'm not receiving notifications

Please check that notifications are enabled for Expiro:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  • Scroll down and tap "Expiro"
  • Tap "Notifications"
  • Make sure "Allow Notifications" is turned on

Is my data backed up?

Expiro stores all data locally on your device for privacy. If you back up your iPhone via iCloud or iTunes, your Expiro data will be included in that backup. We do not have access to your data or provide separate cloud backup.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you've previously purchased Expiro and need to restore your purchase (for example, on a new device):

  • Open Expiro
  • Go through the onboarding screens to the purchase page
  • Tap "Restore Purchase"
  • Sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase

How do I delete a document?

On the main screen, swipe left on any document to reveal the delete option. You can also tap on a document to view its details, then tap the delete button.

How do I delete all my data?

To remove all Expiro data, simply uninstall the app from your device. Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your documents and settings.
